Delicious Destinations Festival
Sunday 11 October

Pier One Sydney Harbour: Together with The Gantry Restaurant and Bar, Pier One Sydney Harbour will be flaunting their love affair for uniting delicious destinations with people who love deliciousness, by launching their bi-annual Delicious Destinations Festival right here at Pier One Walsh Bay.
See the Pier transform into a festival of local Walsh Bay eateries, regional farm and produce stations, live entertainment, educational classes and pop ups of our famed wine regions – including Sydney’s first Cloudy Bay Lounge for 2015. We’ve even got a Doggy Corner that offers delicious treats for your four legged friends – so bring your pooch along for the afternoon!
It’s not just food and drink that make a destination delicious! As Australia’s most experiential hotel, we’re teasing all of your senses – smell, sight, sound, touch and of course TASTE!
Bring the family, friends and pets and we’ll SEE YOU SOON!

Get Involved

Pier One Sydney Harbour is reaching out to local eateries, businesses and brands that would like to become a vendor at the festival.
The success of the festival will depend on our local residents and brand getting on board and sharing the news. Pier One Sydney Harbour would love to have all the eateries, bars, restaurants etc. host a stall and really showcase how great Walsh Bay is…

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Sydney Theatre Company: Announced that Jonathan Church will Succeed Andrew Upton as Artistic Director of Sydney Theatre Company (STC). The British artist has been Artistic Director of Chichester Festival Theatre since 2006 and is credited with completely transforming the much-loved UK institution.
Current Artistic Director of STC Andrew Upton said: "I think Jonathan Church is a terrific choice as the next Artistic Director of STC. After a period being led by an actress and a writer, I think it's important to have a theatre director once more at the helm. I look forward to fresh perspectives on the international theatre canon and a continuation of STC's championing of local theatre makers and stories, including on the international stage. Developing pathways for artists is one of the key aspects of being an Artistic Director of a theatre company this size and Jonathan has a great track record for enabling artists in the UK”, Upton said.

Garrison Church

Rev. Craig Tubman: After several years working as a school chaplain at Barker College and then Cranbrook, I’ve recently moved in (July) as the minister for the Garrison Church, Millers Point. I can’t think of a more exciting area of Sydney to be involved in. New café’s, the opening of the Barangaroo Park, the reopening of the Palisade, new offices popping up down in Walsh Bay and smack bang in the middle of it is the Garrison Church, 170 years young! We are currently renovating our church to make it more usable as a hub of community for Walsh Bay and Millers Point. Our aim is to experience what it means to have faith in Jesus in our ever changing modern world. We are also looking to bless our community through parenting courses, marriage enrichment courses, feeding the poor of Sydney and providing a fun open-air carols service for the community in 2016. Our Sunday services are 9:30am and 4pm.
If you want to chat more about our church or need help with anything email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
