WALSH BAY PRECINCT

 IMPORTANT ROAD CLOSURES & SPECIAL EVENT CLEARWAY INFORMATION

There will be road closures in place along the 42km course in North Sydney, the Sydney CBD, The Rocks, Walsh Bay, Millers Point, Barangaroo, Pyrmont, Darlinghurst, Moore Park and Centennial Park on Sunday 16^th September 2018 between 1:00am and 1:30pm. These road closures are in place to help minimise traffic congestion, to create a course for the 4 running events (Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k Bridge Run and Family Fun Run) and to ensure, where possible, hotel guests, employees, business owners and residents are able to gain access to these areas.
 
The 2018 Blackmores Sydney Running Festival ROAD CLOSURES & SPECIAL EVENT CLEARWAYS IN YOUR AREA flyer is attached please take the time to familiarise yourself with this information so you can plan ahead.

The road closures specific to your area include;

Access to Barangaroo Car Parks at the intersection of Dalgety Road and Towns Place will be maintained. Access to Towns Place Car Park at the intersection of Towns Place and Hickson Road will be maintained via a contra flow..

As a result of the road closures in place on Sunday 16^th September between 4:00am – 1:30pm in your area, we ask that the businesses and residents within the Walsh Bay Precinct help to lockdown the course route from vehicles during this time by locking their garage doors to ensure that vehicles cannot appear on the road while the event is taking place and to also consider alternative arrangements on this day.

Hi People who love to try new things,
 
Our lovely volunteer Sylvia Liu will be teaching you a Chinese Folk Dance.
 
It is called the Match Maker Dance of Qi.

It will take place over 4 weeks.

When:    Tuesday 11^th, 18^th, 25^th September & 2^nd October

Time:      1pm

Where:    Harry Jensen Centre- 17 Argyle St, Millers Point
 
This will be followed by her Tai Chi Class at 2pm.
