Hi The Pier Residents & Walsh Bay Residents,

Thank you so much for choosing to support The Smith Family's annual Toy and Book Appeal this past Christmas. On behalf of The Smith Family, we want to thank you for your support. We hope you had a wonderful holiday season.

Your generously donated gift collection has helped to put smiles on the faces of Australian children in need on Christmas morning.

Not only are we grateful for your support, but so are the 27,000 children living in disadvantage across Australia that you and many other gift collectors have helped make a difference to this holiday season.

Thank you again for your support and we look forward to working with you again in 2020.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Warm Regards,
The Toy & Book Team
The Smith Family

Work is continuing inside the Barangaroo Station, where current activities include concreting, installing steel mesh and waterproofing the station walls. With under-harbour tunnelling recommencing, our support facilities such as the treatment plant by the foreshore and grout plant are back in operation. You may also notice large concrete segments being delivered to the acoustic shed on Hickson Road, which are lowered underground and used to line the tunnel.

As a reminder, I have attached a copy of the January 2020 monthly update which has more information about activities at the Barangaroo Station site this month.

Out-of-hours work next week

Work will continue 24/7 next week at the northern end of the Barangaroo Station site, where concrete is being delivered to build the ceiling of the underground crossover cavern. There will also be some work at the southern end of the site, as we continue to disassemble and clean tunnel boring machine Nancy. This work is not expected to be noisy.
