Despite some wet weather this week, our Barangaroo team made further progress deep underground where concreting activities are ongoing to build the permanent station structure. Work is also continuing by the foreshore to remove the concrete hardstand area where the spoil shed and tunnelling support infrastructure were located. These activities will continue in the coming weeks.

Out-of-hours work next week

Work will continue 24/7 next week to install waterproof lining and pour concrete in the underground crossover cavern and new Barangaroo Station. Work will involve the use of hand tools, concrete trucks, loaders, elevated working platforms, pumps and cranes. This work is not expected to cause high noise at nearby properties.
